Letter from The Chapter President:

Greetings and welcome to the 611thHouse of Alpha!

On behalf of the hardworking Brothers of Xi Psi Lambda Chapter, it is with exceedingly great pleasure that I welcome you to the web space of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., The 941 Alphas. Xi Psi Lambda is a diverse chapter with an essence like no other and an unwavering dedication to “aiding down-trodden humanity in its efforts to achieve higher social, economic and intellectual status.”

The Brothers of Xi Psi Lambda, since the chartering of our chapter almost four decades, have worked tirelessly to provide voice, vision, leadership, and advocacy to the Manatee/Sarasota area. Since 1984, we have been serving our community with outstanding programs such as Go-to-High School, Go-to-College, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, Project Alpha, and Brother’s Keeper. As we enter our 39th year, I am humbled and honored to be the servant leader of our historic chapter as we continue to focus on the initiatives set forth by our dear fraternity.

By checking in often, you will see how we are actively working within the Manatee/Sarasota community to continue to uphold the values on which our dear brotherhood was founded.

Xi Psi Lambda embodies an unmatched essence and represents Manatee and Sarasota counties covering three diversely populated cities located in the western corridor of central Florida: Palmetto, Bradenton, and Sarasota. We are the 941 Alphas!
